Digital storytelling is telling a story through multi-media channels such as social media or even other digital formats.

One example of digital storytelling that interests me would be Spotify wrapped. I think that the format used to communicate the user’s top songs of the year is very intuitive and pulls the listener in. A second example of digital storytelling that interests me would be Netflix’s digital storytelling through Black Mirror Bandersnatch. I think that how the viewer is able to interact with the story stands out to me, almost like the viewer is choosing the story as they go.

A final example of digital storytelling that interests me would be gifs. I think that gifs are interesting because they tell a story in such a short form. I can learn from these examples the impact and important of relaying a story to the viewer digitally and the planning and thought that would go behind it. Furthermore, how digital versus non digital storytelling would differentiate and have different advantages.
